Cleaning Kerosene Off Your Hands

If you refill tanks often, it is probable that you will get a little bit on your hands. Kerosene, like other petroleum products, has a distinctive aroma that you will want to eliminate.

One item that we like is orange scented automotive hand cleaner. It is used to eliminate grease, on your hands, from working on cars. In addition, the fresh orange scent leaves your hands smelling great. You can find products like this at most any automotive supply house (like Checker or Autozone).

If you do not have this type of cleaner, you can always use some granulated dishwasher or washer detergent and then follow that up with soft dish detergent or shampoo.

If you don't care that much, just wait a while and it will eventually wear off.
